Community Involvement Projects
JAYNE Boutique
In the spring of 2018, I worked alongside Nicole Bogatitus, Marketing Director for the Chicago boutique chain, JAYNE. Through my studies in Retail Social Media & Branding, I was able to put together a complete strategy and plan for the company's social media. The plan highlighted the capabilities and benefits of using social media, what to do and what to avoid on platforms, guides on how to get the most out of individual platforms, and how to measure the return on investment for social media.

Fashion & The Environment Project
As part of a project regarding textiles and the environment, a team at Dominican University and I worked with charities and thrift businesses including Chicago’s Pacific Garden Mission, New To You in Broadview, as well as USAgain and Goodwill. The goal of this project was to find ways to solve the waste and damage that the fashion industry has made on Earth. Through this, we discovered shocking ways that our clothing donations are being misused and we actively worked with different charities to find if their practices are sustainable. We also planned and executed our own clothing drive at Dominican University. Below is a link to the portfolio spread that I put together regarding this project.

Center for Economic Progress
The Center for Economic Progress is a non-profit organization that provides financial support, planning, and more to those in need. They work primarily through volunteers. During the 2018 tax season, I volunteered a total of 50 hours helping people and families of low-income households filling out and sending in their taxes. This required certifications from the IRS along with orientations with CEP. This was overall an amazing experience that I hope to continue doing in the future.
